iDEA (Digital/Employability and employability Skills)

The Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award, known as iDEA is an international award winning programme that helps you develop digital, enterprise and employability skills for free.

Students need to use their school email to login/signup for this service. 

EdClub (ICT, Reading & Vocabulary, SEL)

Online touch type software to help learners become more confident with using a keyboard. The website also offers support with spelling and vocabulary, social and emotional support and digital citizenship.

Login details can be provided by IT Teacher or Tutors.

BBC BITESIZE

This is the BBC's free online study support resource. There are simple to follow videos, quizzes and games  for pupils aged 3 - 16+. It can be used to aid pupils in both schoolwork and for older pupils, exams. All subjects are available, Art and Design, Biology, Computing, History, English etc.  

JULIA DONALDSON AND AXEL SCHEFFLER

If your child is a fan of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler's popular picture books you can download and complete, along side reading the book.

TEDed

Everything TEDed does supports learning. It's a Global platform for teachers to create their own interactive lessons. The talks are more like short movies and are entertaining to watch. It consists of a introduction, a series of multiple choice questions, additional resources to encourage further exploration, an interactive class discussion and a closing.

TEDed covers a huge amount of topics, something for everyone.

TWINKL

Twinkl is a huge library of educational material. It provides users with a wide range of activities, for ages 5 -16. There is a subscription fee if you'd like full access , but there are a lot of free resources available.

THE LITERACY SHED

Enhancing English with film, this website provides high quality films and animations that can be used to enhance the teaching of reading and writing. There is a subscription, but there are a lot free resources.
