Welcome to Secondary School (Bideford)
Welcome to Marland Secondary School, Bideford. We are a coeducational special school that supports young people with their feelings, emotions, and mental health. Our aim is to help every student feel safe, cared for and understood while they learn and progress through their secondary education.
At Marland Secondary, we believe that everyone is important. We work hard to create a warm and friendly place where pupils can build confidence, make friends, and enjoy learning at their own pace. Our teachers and staff are here to support each child’s needs, helping them to overcome challenges, to build confidence, resilience, and a love of learning.
We know that every student is different, so we take the time to build trusting relationships so that we can listen and work closely with families to make sure everyone gets the right support.
